Highlights of the New York Fashion Week fall Season
During New York’s fashion week earlier on February and March 2009, various top American fashion designers showcased collections of runway trends that were refreshments of the 1980’s. On runways of Oscar De La Renta, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and others, ranges of radiant metallic colors; luxurious garments and even neat cuts were witnessed. Oscar displayed the best in his collections that day including the leopard print dresses and coats worn during the 1980’s styles.
The animal skins features such as zebra and tiger plainly jam-packed the runways on dresses, coats, leggings, sweaters, and also the belts. Some other designers had blended the animal skin prints with outdated tweed and checkered styles, and they were fabulous.
Matthew Williamson showcased superb strong colored leather trousers that were tight and smart while Philip Lim displayed white tuxedo jackets paired with extra-slim cigarette pants.
Other trousers you can go for have narrow- legs and made of an elegant satin garment as a suit. You could match these with one-shoulder tops and expect to look different than how they see you. The one shoulder dresses were flattering as models cat walked and they were not new from what the designers had showcased during the spring/summer runways.
